GDPR

HOW DOES GDPR
AFFECT ME?

The Data Protection Ordinance (GDPR) is a comprehensive regulation for the protection of personal data and integrity within the EU. The purpose of the regulation is to give you greater power over what organizations are doing with your personal information.

ACCORDING TO GDPR YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FIND OUT:

if your personal data is processed.
which data is being processed.
the purpose of your personal data being processed.
how your personal data is being categorized.
where the data is stored.
who has access to your personal data.
the occurrence of an automatic decision-making based on the data.
the period for which the data is expected to be stored.

You are also entitled to be forgotten. Personal information that you no longer approve for processing or who no longer needs to be processed can be deleted. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you have the right to get your stored personal information transferred to you in a machine-readable format.

This is completely in line with Freja eID’s philosophy of giving control back to you – the user. Freja eID complies with the GDPR regulations and we are completely open with what information we store about you. Our Privacy Policy is designed to show you how your personal information is processed safely in accordance with applicable legislation.
