Organisation ID

Freja is your personal eID but it also allows you to have an Organisation eID that is connected to a company. This makes it so that your personal and professional digital lives are completely separate, without sacrificing any of the convenience that Freja brings.

If you have received an action to confirm adding an Organisation eID you approve it the same way as with other Freja actions – given that you approve to have this functionality added of course.

It works very much the same way as your personal eID when you identify yourself or sign transactions. The big difference is that when it comes to your personal eID, Freja is responsible for the accuracy of the data that you have provided us. When it comes to Organisation eID, it is the issuing organisation that is responsible. For exemple, if you use Freja as an employment ID, it is your employer who is responsible for the data added to your Freja account.

You can get one if your organisation has signed a contract with Freja. Please note that you are required to first have a personal Freja before an Organisation eID can be issued on your account.

Your company is responsible for issuing Organisation eID to you, so they will provide you with any necessary information and details.

That is up to your organisation. They will determine how Organisation eID fits into your internal systems or to cloud services they use.

Some organisations may also use Organisation eID in a physical context. In that case you will show the ID-screen in Freja, for example to validate that you have a certain profession or role.

Your organisation is responsible from removing Organisation eID from your Freja account. If you want to remove your Organisation eID for some reason, please contact the organisation that issued it to you.
It is a device that you temporarily attach to your Organisation eID. It is ideal for workplaces with shared devices because it is added through Freja, meaning that everything is done digitally, no cards or hardware required.

Also, this temporary device is only connected to your Organisation eID, so your private eID is completely separate from it.

Before adding a temporary device, you must have an Organisation eID.

To add a temporary device, you will need both your private device with Freja, and the temporary device you will be adding.

Start the process by opening Freja on the temporary device and choosing ‘Already a User’ and then ‘Add Device’. After that, follow the instructions in the app.

We have a more detailed step-by-step guide here.

You use it in the same way as you use your personal Freja or your Organisation eID. However, there are some restrictions. You can only confirm a transaction with PIN, not with biometrics.

You can remove it in 2 ways:

  1. From the temporary device itself.
  2. From your main/private device if you enter Organisation eID.

If you forget to remove it, don’t worry. From the moment it is added, the temporary device has an expiration timer of 8 hours after which it will remove itself.
