Four steps to get started

For you as a company, authority or any other organisation connecting your users to Freja eID is very easy. All that is needed is a simple integration and that your users download the app and register.

If you need a higher level of identity assurance, the user goes to the nearest Freja eID agent to show his or her ID. If some of your users are already in the Freja eID ecosystem, they will, of course, not need to register again.

1. Sign an agreement

The first step is to sign an agreement with Freja eID and choose how many users you want to add to the system.

The philosophy behind Freja eID is to provide a service that increases your customer interaction. That is why we have created a model built for free use so that the digital identity becomes an enabler, not an obstacle.

2. Integrate with Freja eID

The technical integration is simple and is done via an API that does not require any major changes in your systems.

Our support team is available to help you with the integration and the ongoing service. However, the system is designed from an idea of simplicity so that you should need to spend as little time as possible on managing digital identities.

3. Check existing users

Freja eID is an ecosystem for identities and some of your users might already be included.

In that case, they can start using Freja eID with your services as soon as you have completed the integration.

4. Connect new users

Users who do not have Freja eID download the application from the App Store and Google Play. After a quick registration, they are ready to use Freja eID in the services you have integrated.

There are different levels of identity assurance and your needs dictate what level you want to use. To achieve LOA3, users must undergo an identity assurance showing an ID, according to a certified process.

This upgrades the user to Freja eID+, an eID approved by the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (DIGG) for the quality mark Svensk e-legitimation.
