Spring is finally here, but unfortunately so is the pollen season. This year, 2023, it arrived earlier than usual due to the mild winter.
It is difficult to avoid pollen because it is spread by the wind, but here are some good tips if you are feeling bad from pollen:
- Air the bedroom at night or early in the morning when pollen levels are low.
- Do not hang clothes or bedding to air or dry outdoors.
- If you are going to exercise outdoors, do it in the morning when the dew is still binding the pollen.
- Avoid contact with pets that have been outside and got pollen in their fur.
- Keep windows closed during the day.
- Pollen allergy or hay fever is made worse by tobacco smoke. Therefore, avoid smoking or staying in smoky environments.
At Pollenrapporten.se you can see current reports so that you are prepared if levels are high.
