What is happening?

Freja cannot scan your passport because it cannot validate the data within. Unfortunately, this means that you cannot add your passport to Freja.

Even if your country is on the list of supported countries, it is possible for some passports from that country to not be scannable.

Why is it happening?

This is not an issue with Freja but with the country issuing your passport. They have not released all of the cryptographic keys necessary for passport validation to the public.

What can I do?

Until your country makes public the necessary cryptographic keys, we are sorry to say there is nothing you, or we, can do.
