All 2000 PostNord agents in Sweden now accept Freja as a physical ID when picking up a parcel. All you need to bring is your phone with Freja eID!

For this to work, you need to verify your identity in Freja eID with a photo and valid ID document. You will get a digital ID card in the app that you can use to prove who you are.

Please note that PostNord accepts Freja as a physical ID only when picking up parcels, and currently not for their online services.

What to do at PostNord

When you are at the PostNord agent and need to prove your identity follow these steps:

  1. Open your ID card in Freja
  2. Show it to the PostNord agent
  3. Let them scan the QR code

That’s it! When you open your ID card, you can tap on the screen to activate animation and sound to prove that it’s authentic.
