- The update is automatic, you don’t need to do anything;
- Your Lawyer ID will have an updated design and new features.
The Swedish Bar Association collaborates with Freja to issue a state-approved service e-ID to its members.
The first version has been live since February 2024 and now we are updating the design and functionality of your Lawyer ID to reflect design and security improvements we have made to Organisation ID in the meantime. This update will be live on 02.11.2026.
- If you are a new user you will be issued the new version automatically.
- If you are an old user, your old Lawyer ID will be updated automatically.
Design Updates
As mentioned above, your updated Lawyer ID comes with a new design and new features.
Look and feel
The design is cleaner, the colours better reflect the branding of the Swedish Bar Association and the data is organized more logically.
Security box
The security box with the scannable QR code in your Lawyer ID has been updated with a clear timeout countdown.
The scannable QR code contains your personnummer making it convenient for verification.
ID info page
There is also an additional information page that provides more information about your Lawyer ID including your email.
Security portal
Every OrgID in Freja, and that includes the Lawyer ID, can be verified via our security portal. This portal can be used by anyone to verify the authenticity of your Lawyer ID.
