When you register for Freja, you need to add your ID document to Freja so that we can verify that it’s really you.
After we validate your identity, we use your data to generate a digital ID card in Freja that contains not only your age, but your other data such as your name, personnummer and your photo.
Where You Can Use Freja
Freja is accepted as a valid identification at more than 5000 locations across Sweden. You can use it at PostNord for picking up parcels, at various pharmacies when getting prescription medicine, and in various corner shops such as 7-Eleven, Direkten and Pressbyrån for proving you age when buying age-restricted products.
Freja is not just for physical identification – you can use it to log in to many online services such as the Alltid Öppet app for health consultations online, at Transportstyrelsen to apply for your learner’s permit and many more!

Create an account with your email and create a PIN code.
Verify yourself by adding a valid ID document to Freja and taking a photo of yourself.
When our security team checks the data (weekdays 8-22) we will let you know.
