We are constantly working on reducing digital exclusion in Sweden, so we are proud to announce that people with certified coordination numbers can now get Freja eID Plus and access crucial e-services they might not have been able to before. In addition to Swedes living abroad and those who have protected identities, Freja becoming available to people with a coordination number is an important step towards digital equality.

The only requirement is that you must be in the population register in Sweden or have been deregistered less than three years ago, and have a valid Swedish ID document.

How Do I Get Freja eID Plus?

To get Freja eID Plus you need to verify your identity in the app with a photo and a valid ID document and then visit a Freja agent for an in-person check. The list of agents can be found in the Freja app.

We also have a detailed registration guide that guides you through the entire process.

Why Get Freja eID Plus?

In addition to logging in to a lot of private and public e-services, after completing the registration for Freja, you can use it as an ID document in the mobile using the digital ID card that is generated. More than 5,000 affiliated stores are currently receiving it and more are on the way!
